Mineração SM produces a granitic-origin mineral material characterized by high silica (SiO₂) content, natural presence of alkaline fluxes (Na₂O and K₂O), and low loss on ignition - properties that provide excellent performance in industrial applications requiring high thermal and chemical resistance. Mineralogical and microstructural studies demonstrate the predominance of quartz and alkaline feldspars, with ferromagnesian impurities concentrated in separable phases, enabling beneficiation processes to meet specific technical specifications.
 

Thanks to its balanced composition, the material shows strong potential for use as a silica-flux component in glass formulations, as a raw material for ceramic frits and glazes, and as a functional mineral filler for the paints and coatings industry, contributing to thermal stability, fusion control, improved physicochemical properties, and optimized production processes.
